25 years ago - New York City

My birthday is on 9-9.  So 25 years ago we went to New York City to celebrate!  I wanted to go to the top of the Empire State Building. (Remember my husband is from Harlem and hates doing tourist stuff.) But we went up and I shot photos of the Word Trade Center, of course.  (I have so many really special photos in boxes...)

So I went home to Connecticut and was in a meeting and we all ran to the television to watch what happened today, on 9-11 in New York, 25 years ago.

As a journalist I had to go back, so 12 days later I took this photo. 

I made a huge photo album of photos I took, before and after.  I am not sure what to do with all those memories of this horrific day.

I am 70 now.
